Care Quality Commission Approval
What does it mean to be Care Quality Commission Registered?
- An annual inspection and independent audit is carried out by a senior CQC Inspector and a Pharmacist;
- The vaccine fridge log and cold chain are evaluated and checked to ensure medicines have been maintained at the correct temperature;
- Policies and procedures are stringently checked and monitored;
- The oxygen and emergency drugs are checked;
- Clinical Infection Control policies and procedures are checked and reviewed to ensure compliance with current best practice;
- Patient Record Cards are inspected to ensure they are maintained in compliance with the CQC's standards;
- Human Resources policies and procedures and personnel files are inspected to verify that appropriate checks have been carried out on staff in relation to qualifications, references and suitability to work with children;
- Patient Consumer Survey Results are reviewed to ensure consistent high standards.
All of our clinics are Care Quality Commission registered. We operate all our clinics to the highest level of clinical excellence, following the same policies, procedures and standards in all clinics run by the company. All our clinics are fully insured.
